Mindfulness meditation, at its simplest, is paying attention to what is happening in the present moment. Being conscious about yourself and your surroundings without judgment. 

Concentration is the key to successful learning. On a daily basis, we are constantly asked to concentrate, but have we ever learned how to concentrate? 

Concentration is the ability to direct our attention to a specific task while filtering out distractions. It is the foundation upon which effective learning is built. Without concentration, there will be no learning, doesn't matter how many worksheets or tasks you complete. Unfortunately, it is easy to get distracted.

Through my mindfulness-based approach to learning, I have created guided visualizations, playful meditations, activation techniques and many games to help you concentrate and learn more effectively.

My Approach

My inspiration stems from my international work with children all around the world. Therefore my lessons are influenced by multicultural subjects. I design classes for children ages 3 to 15 years old with a focus on life skills such as emotional self-regulation, compassionate mindfulness, and self-awareness.

 

Just as athletes train their muscles to perform at their best, mindfulness meditation can be a great tool to train our minds to concentrate deeply.  

Research shows that practicing mindfulness meditation can improve attention span for children and young people with ADHD or learning difficulties.

 

By incorporating age-appropriate activities, such as guided visualizations, playful meditations, activation techniques or breathing exercises, children can learn to focus their attention and develop their concentration skills.
